Anne Twiname received her long service medal!
Our Prior, Simon Mackintosh, alongside Angus Loudon, Priory Secretary, journeyed to Dumfries to deliver a presentation to a distinguished lady who has volunteered with St John Scotland since 1988.
Anne Twiname received her long service medal and bar from the Prior. Over the years, Anne has fulfilled various roles within the Dumfries branch, most recently as the area's Patient Transport coordinator.
On the day of the presentation, Anne was joined by her family, friends, and a select group of guests. Florence Dewar, another dedicated member of the Dumfries team, presented Anne with beautiful flowers. Anne expressed her gratitude to the Prior and Angus for their visit to Dumfries to conduct the ceremony, and thanked everyone for attending.
Following the formalities, everyone enjoyed a delightful buffet at the venue. It was a pleasant occasion for all who were present.
Congratulations to Anne on receiving this well-deserved recognition!
