The village of Torphichen in West Lothian is home to Torphichen Preceptory, the medieval home of the Knights Hospitaller in Scotland.
The historic Torphichen Preceptory was built during the 1100s, and although later additions were made to the building, much of what is seen today was built in the 1400s.
The Preceptory is available to hire for weddings, and this atmospheric venue makes a stunning backdrop for your special day.
Set in beautiful grounds in the charming, quiet village of Torphichen, the Preceptory has a large open hall with space for seating, while the decorative window at the end of the hall floods the space with natural light.
Guests are welcome to decorate the Preceptory to suit, and the nearby Torphichen Inn is available for reception events.
Wedding hire costs just £500, and this fee goes directly to supporting the charitable work of St John Scotland.
