CPR and defibrillator awareness refresher training in Ardrossan

St John Scotland Ayrshire and Arran's Brian Gibson (CPR Lead), recently organised an afternoon of bystander CPR and defibrillator awareness refresher training. Many of our dedicated volunteers were present at the event in Ardrossan.

We were delighted to be joined by Simon Mackintosh our Chancellor and Lisa Millar our new Volunteer Development Officer, each of whom spoke about their roles within SJS.

Leads Archie Chalmers, Sandy Caldwell, Janice Granger and Colin McCormick gave updates on the community defibrillator scheme, forthcoming events and our soon-to-be launched patient transport scheme.

Jess Duncan, Chair, welcomed four new volunteers - Robert, Charmaine, Gail and Cameron.
