CPR and defibrillator awareness sessions for Ayr Academy

St John Scotland Ayrshire and Arran CPR champions delivered a bystander CPR and defibrillator awareness sessions to around 40 S2 pupils at Ayr Academy on Friday 7 May.

The pupils were all enthusiastic and eager to learn about CPR and can be seen holding up their certificates of participation.

Thanks to our volunteers Colin, Sandy, David, Janice, Charmaine, Julie, Isabel and Heather, and thanks also to Head Teacher Laura Traynor and DHT Kirsty Lawrie for organising the event.
