CPR and Defibrillator Training Event at Kyle Academy in Ayr

On Wednesday 27 March, the Ayrshire and Arran team continued their programme of bystander CPR and defibrillator awareness training in South Ayrshire schools, when they visited Kyle Academy in Ayr. This was following the installation of a PAD which was donated in memory of Elaine Millar from Stewarton, thanks to a generous donation from her mother, Mary Millar.

The team was led by Archie with support from Billy, Anthony, Charmaine, Julie, Heather, Katherine and committee member Jean-Elizabeth. They were delighted to be joined by Andy and Brian, from the Dumfries & Galloway Area, who very kindly came along to support us in the delivery of the session.

The 48 pupils who attended were all very enthusiastic and very keen to take part. They all received a certificate of participation.
