Liam Hackett was awarded the Knights Cross of Merit

One of St John Scotland's dedicated volunteers Liam Hackett CStJ was awarded the Knights Cross of Merit (Merito Melitensi) by Frà John Dunlap, the Grand Master of the Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of St John of Jerusalem of Rhodes and of Malta.
Liam is a retired London Firefighter and has spent the last 35 years volunteering with street homeless.
He was awarded the St John Life Saving Medal in 1991 and has been a member of the Priory of Scotland of the Order of St John since 2013.
