New Chief Operating Officer and New Europe Middle East and Africa’ (EMEA) Regional Coordinator.
The Board of St John Scotland are delighted to announce the appointment of Barri Millar as their new Chief Operating Officer, (with effect from 1st July 2024) a completely new role, and one that will see Barri oversee the day-to-day operations of the charity, developing and delivering our core services both nationally and within local communities.
St John Scotland is about to start work on their new strategic vision, led by their new Prior, Simon Mackintosh, which will set out the Boards vision for 2026 to 2031.
Barri is experienced in Senior Executive and leadership roles, and has previously served as charity Chief Executive. He also has experience in charity governance with over 15 years as charity trustee, and Board chair - and will bring a new dynamic to SJS.
Angus Loudon has moved to a new international role within with wider St John family, in the newly created role as ‘Europe Middle East and Africa’ (EMEA) Regional Coordinator, however, he remains the Secretary to the Priory of Scotland.
