New Defibrillator outside Gallagher Pharmacy, Hamilton Street, Saltcoats

In partnership with the Royal British Legion Scotland Saltcoats, Ardrossan and Stevenston Branch, St John Scotland Ayrshire and Arran is delighted to announce the unveiling of a defibrillator, which is situated outside Gallagher Pharmacy in Hamilton Street, Saltcoats.

The defibrillator was kindly donated by Tennents (C & C Group) in memory of their former work colleague, Laura Henderson, and we, once again, thank them for their generosity. Stephen Dickson and David Adams of C & C Group raised the money by taking part in a Strava challenge.

Following the installation of the defibrillator, members of the Royal British Legion Scotland, Saltcoats and Stevenston Branch, attended a bystander CPR and defibrillator awareness training event, which took place on Saturday 17 June in Lodge St John RA Saltcoats & Ardrossan No 320.
