St John Malawi's first investiture
St John Malawi held it first investiture ceremony to welcome its Members into the Order of St John.
The ceremony took place on the 2nd of February and was held at the St Paul's Anglican Cathedral, Blantyre, Malawi.
The investiture ceremony was conducted by the Prior of St John Scotland, The Duchess of Argyll. Her Grace admitted into the order and praised the efforts of six St John Malawi staff and volunteers - Margaret Hornell Ali, Lazarus Banda, Thomas Bester Kaiya, Raphael Kuyesa, Rennie Magodi, Jennifer Namilika.
The newly appointed members have dedicated years toward saving lives and by helping support vulnerable people. The members received insignia and certificates.
The homily was given by Bishop Alinafe Kalemba.
