Valentines day event
This Valentines' Day we want to get hearts beating!
Four sheltered homes in Edinburgh have been gifted with Public Access Defibrillators thanks to the Edinburgh's Community Benefit Scheme. The donation was funded by Ultilita energy (Council's energy supplier). The devices are placed in complexes in Glimerton, Granton, Piershill and Slighthill.
St John Scotland partnered with Edinburgh Council by providing the CPR and Defibrillator training.
Joined at the unveiling are Councillor Jane Meagher (Housing, Homelessness and Fair Work Convener, City of Edinburgh Council), David Thomson (Sheltered Housing Support Officer, City of Edinburgh Council), Martyn Arnold (Sheltered Housing Supervisor, City of Edinburgh Council), Steven Cuthbertson (Energy Expert, Utilita), Caitlyn Allardice (Energy Expert, Utilita), John Craig (Edinburgh Area Chair of St John Scotland), Barbara Begbie, and Margaret Cameron (residents of Moira Park)
