Volunteer awarded OBE

St John Scotland Ayrshire and Arran wish to convey their warmest congratulations to their loyal and valued supporter Willie Campbell, Captain of 1st Stewarton Boys’ Brigade, who was awarded the Medal of the Order of the British Empire in the King’s New Year’s Honours 2024 for services to the community in Stewarton, East Ayrshire.

Willie was presented with his award by Lord Lieutenant Sheriff Iona McDonald, who is also the Honorary President of St John Scotland Ayrshire and Arran. The ceremony took place in St Columba’s Church, Stewarton on Friday 17 May.
